“This family-run guest house, a short walk from Stratford-upon-Avon's heart, struck me as more personal than the larger hotels. The host's attentiveness is a clear advantage, and the location is superb, a minute's walk to the market and town center and a great bonus to have free parking on site. The Salamander Guest House is often described as a gem, offering clean and modern rooms, some in a converted attic space. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, sometimes larger than a single, and well-stocked refreshment trays with tea, coffee, and biscuits. It's centrally located, making it a short walk to the theatre, the town centre, and the Royal Shakespeare Company, though some guests have noted the attic rooms can feel a little restricted in space.

perfect location good restaurants heating issues electric thermostat
the location was indeed perfect for the theatre. it was also great for reaching town and the railway station. breakfast places and good restaurants were easily reachable. i was told of breakfast places and also good restaurants where we could eat.
there were significant issues with the heating. the electric thermostat on the radiator did not work properly. i tried to have the windows open as much as possible.

Charming Stay Close to Everything

The room was clean (I appreciated this so much!), bright, and quiet. It was close to the important historical sites and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The bed was comfy. The hostess, Alex, gave me LOADS of recommendations and showed me around on a map.
I had some difficulty connecting to the WIFI. I think one of the other guests must have been using a lot of devices.
